Tonight, I’ll have the pleasure of joining my Interfictions 2 editor Delia Sherman and co-authors F. Brett Cox, Cecil Castellucci, Carlos Hernandez, and Ray Vukcevich at an Interstitial Arts salon in an unusual venue: the online community Second Life.
(Apparently, my suggestion to hold our online salon in Modern Warfare 2, crouching in the battered fuselage of a downed C-130 and fending off insane 12-year-old warriors, was met with cold disdain.)
If you’re not one of those people into new-fangled things like online communities or running water, you can go to www.secondlife.com to set yourself up with a free avatar.
Then, at 9pm EST, you can teleport to the Lacamas Reading Hall by following this teleportation link. You’ll probably want to have the sound turned up so you can hear us. Or not, depending on your preference.
We’ll be faking answers to questions about the new Interfictions 2 anthology, my story “Remembrance is Something Like a House,” or anything else about interstitial fiction.
See you there!
