April 18, 2008: Slow but...well, just slow
For fans keeping score at home, I am indeed still working on the novel and I'm pleased to announce that I've finally broken the 50,000-word mark.

That makes this the single longest work I've ever attempted (which, for a man of index cards and bulleted lists, is a completely different experience).
What little I've read or given to others seems to have gone over well. So we'll see.
