January 3, 2008: Starting the year off right
I got good news via e-mail today: my story "A Good Psycho is Hard to Find" has been accepted by Kevin J. Anderson for the HWA anthology Blood Lite!
If you've wondered how long it would be until I wrote a story about the psychology of the slasher movie victim, you can rest easy now.
Or maybe not so easy.

Great news, my friend.
I also thoroughly enjoyed your recent column in Horror World. I even tried to creep myself out while on vacation up here in Canada. I had to walk down to the basement late at night and kept thinking about the scene in "The House on Haunted Hill" (the original B&W version) where a person is in a basement room and looks toward the stairs and sees a ghost. That scene has stayed with me all my life. I kept thinking about that scene as I walked down into the dark, cold basement. Creepy!
