Conflict Exercises

Writers need practice and experience in thinking through their ideas so that they are suited for use in a story. The most common issue for a story idea is that it contains no conflict: no stake for a particular character for whom we feel sympathy or tension.

This exercise prompts you with each specific element of a story.
