Appearing at Necronomicon, St. Petersburg on 10/26 – 10/28

Yeah, big surprise: I’m returning to a convention that I’ve been attending almost every year since 1987 (as a guest since, what, 2002 or so?). It’s like the Hotel California of conventions, but in a good way. It’s great to see old friends there each year, and it’s comforting like a big ol’ gamer-geek-sf-fantasy-horror blanket but much better smelling.

I’ll be on four panels this time:

  • Friday, 10PM: It’s the End of the World as We Know It; Apocalyptic Fiction
  • Friday, 11PM: Sex in Science Fiction & Fantasy
  • Saturday, 2PM: Getting It Right: Paranormal Elements in Fiction
  • Saturday, 3PM: Humor In Horror: Is Anything Sacred?

I’m not quite sure how I got on the infamous late-night sex panel except maybe that I’m so awesome at it. I’ll try to be funny, insightful, and brief in my demonstrations.

See you there!
