I’m happy to see my story “The Ghost Factory” in the latest issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction. You can find it in hard copy at your local book dealer (assuming he/she hasn’t been run out of business) or electronically through Kindle or Nook.
“The Ghost Factory” is a bit of a departure for them, I think: the memoir of the last resident of an abandoned mental hospital who discovers he’s not alone. I’ll brace myself for the inevitable comments that it isn’t REALLY science fiction, to which I’ll respond that psychology is a science, kind of.
I hope you enjoy it!
I’m pleased to be sharing a table of contents with Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Douglas Clegg, and all of the usual Cemetery Dance suspects in issue #67.
My story is “Leverage,” the memoir of the world’s laziest hitman and his greatest achievement. Pick it up now!
Now that the cover is making the rounds, I suppose I can officially announce that my new collection, In Search of and Others is coming in March 2013 from Lethe Press.
(Click to soak in its full glory; I designed the front cover!)
I’m excited: it contains fifteen of my best stories, including several new ones. I’ll be on the stump next year for it, so look out for both me and the book!
